Posted by Gohan Buffet is an Asian all you can eat (AYCE) in the Stone Mountain area that offers seafood, sushi, Chinese food, and more! Here’s what I have to say about this place.
It’s kind of funny. When I was little, I went to these Chinese / Asian buffets a lot. One reason was my grandpa loved these places. He could eat all the foods he wants. We actually have a lot in common when it comes to foods we like. We like large chunks of meat, and are a little bit too lazy to deal with things like snow crabs LOL
Anyway, the other reason was my fam was literally my single parent mom raising me all by herself, so we didn’t have a lot of money and buffets were a freakin’ good deal.
So eventually I got sooooo tired of them. They all were the same to me at one point.
Fast forward to this past Mother’s day, my boyfriend’s mother choose Gohan for her mother’s day luncheon. I didn’t really know what to expect, but man I was pleasantly surprised!
This is maybe the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever had!
Pictures are worth a thousand words, so I am going to show you a few of the dishes I had:
Hibachi chicken, green beans, chicken and broccoli, mushrooms, calamari, stir fry shrimp, and more!
Egg rolls, fried okra, hibachi noodles, seafood mix, and more!
Shrimp salad, mussels, softshell crabs, fish, and more!
So those are kind of the normal food they have there. But because it was mothers day – there was a snow crab special too – so I ate unlimited amount of snow crab legs!
By the way one thing I thought was super cool….
They have staff that come and grab your plates when you’re done with it, BUT on top of this, there is also this cute little robot that comes collects your plates too!
The funny thing is we didn’t eat fast enough for this robot buddy, so he kept coming over and I’m like stuffing my face so I can give him an empty plate LOL.
So basically, I do recommend this place if you are looking for a tasty all you can eat Chinese buffet! Quality was great, service was great, it was really a great deal!
