If you’re craving bold, satisfying Thai food in the Duluth area, SriThai is a must-visit spot. This cozy restaurant tucked in a busy shopping plaza delivers dependable classics and crave-worthy flavor, and it’s been one of my go-tos for years.

Now let’s talk about my go to dishes here!

🦑 Yum Yum Squid

If you like spicy, tangy, and slightly sweet salads, the Yum Yum Squid is where it’s at. It’s a chilled squid dish tossed in a bright, spicy dressing with herbs.

The squid is tender with just the right bounce, and the sauce hits all the right notes—sour, salty, sweet, and spicy. It’s refreshing and bold at the same time.

Now I’ve ordered this a bunch of times before, INCLUDING covid times, so I have pictures of both at the restaurant and also at home delivered via DoorDash.

🍜 Pad Woon Sen

Their Pad Woon Sen (stir-fried glass noodles) is a comforting plate of savory stir-fry that comes with both chicken and shrimp by default. The noodles are light and springy, tossed with vegetables and a savory sauce that clings to every bite. It’s not overly greasy, and it’s full of umami—one of those dishes that’s somehow cozy and exciting at once.

Again, I’ve ordered this also a bunch of times before, INCLUDING covid times, so I have pictures of both at the restaurant and also at home delivered via DoorDash.

🍛 Green Curry with Pork

I always get the green curry, and I usually choose pork. But you can get any choice of protein! Why pork? Since I’m already getting chicken and shrimp in the Pad Woon Sen, pork balances out the trio and adds a rich, savory depth that holds up beautifully against the creamy, spicy coconut curry. The curry itself is aromatic and complex, with just the right amount of heat and Thai basil fragrance.

🌶️ Pad Prik

If you’re into spicy stir-fries, definitely get the Pad Prik. It comes with green beans, eggplant, bamboo shoots, garlic, and bell pepper in a light spicy curry paste. It’s the kind of dish that makes your mouth tingle but keeps you going back for more. I usually get it with pork or chicken—both are great!

🍢 Moo Yang (Grilled BBQ Pork)

Don’t skip the Moo Yang—grilled BBQ pork that’s juicy, smoky, and perfectly charred on the edges. It comes with sticky rice, making it a satisfying combo of sweet-savory meat and chewy rice goodness. It’s simple but so good.

🍲 Tom Yum Goong

When I want something cozy and spicy, I go for the Tom Yum Goong—a hot and sour soup loaded with shrimp, crab claw, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It’s aromatic, tangy, and just the right level of heat. The broth is rich with lemongrass and lime leaf, giving it that signature Thai flavor that warms you from the inside out.

Also look how cute it comes when you’re there in person:

🌶️ Don’t Forget the Spice Rack!

Pro tip: Ask for the spice rack!

They’ll bring out a traditional Thai condiment caddy with chili flakes, pickled chili in vinegar, fish sauce with chilies, and a sweet chili sauce. It’s the best way to customize each bite—turning up the heat, adding tang, or layering in funk. The dishes are already flavorful on their own, but that little boost takes everything to the next level.

SriThai Duluth is consistently delicious. It’s perfect for weekday dinners, takeout nights, or when you’re just in the mood for something comforting and spicy.

Have you been? Let me know what your go-to order is—I’m always open to trying more!
